This is your complete guide to how VialTalk works — what every feature does, how to use it, and why it exists. Bookmark this thread and come back whenever you need a refresher.
THE FORUM
The forum is organized into categories covering general peptide discussion, specific compound groups (healing peptides, GLP-1s, growth hormone peptides, nootropics, cosmetic peptides, and more), stacks and protocols, beginner questions, vendor accountability (reviews, COAs, red flags), long-form progress journals, results sharing, vendor-only spaces, and off-topic conversation. The full current list lives on the forum homepage, and it will grow and change over time as the community evolves.
How to start a thread: Pick the category that best fits your topic, click "New Thread," give it a clear and specific title, write your content, and add relevant tags. Good titles are searchable — "BPC-157 reconstitution question" is better than "Help please."
How to reply: Click into any thread and use the reply box at the bottom. Quote specific parts of other posts when responding to keep the conversation clear.
Upvoting: Upvote posts that are helpful, accurate, or well-written. Upvotes contribute to the author's reputation score and help surface quality content across the site. Reputation on VialTalk only comes from real community votes — nothing is seeded.
THE VENDOR DIRECTORY
The Vendor Directory is a searchable, filterable list of peptide vendors. Each listing includes the vendor's overall community rating (calculated from real reviews), sub-scores for product quality, shipping, and communication, a business description, and links to their site.
Rankings are based on community reviews only. There is no pay-to-rank. A vendor with zero advertising spend and strong reviews will outrank a vendor who buys ads but has mediocre reviews.
VENDOR REVIEWS
The review system is VialTalk's core accountability feature. Reviews require an established account — there are minimum posting thresholds in place to prevent brand-new accounts from leaving drive-by ratings (both fake positives and fake negatives). The exact thresholds are documented on the review page and in the vendor rules.
Each review includes an overall score, sub-scores for quality, shipping, and communication, and a written explanation. Reviews are permanent and public. Vendors can respond publicly to any review, so both sides of every story stay on the record.
BADGES & REPUTATION
Badges are earned through real participation — posting, writing reviews, receiving upvotes, community tenure, and other contributions. New badges are added over time as new milestones and contribution paths are introduced, including badges specific to vendors. The full current list of badges, and your progress toward them, is visible on your profile page.
Your reputation score reflects real upvotes and activity — nothing is seeded, nothing is bought.
PRIVATE MESSAGING
Direct messaging becomes available once you've met the minimum posting threshold. This keeps spammers and bots out of people's inboxes. Your messages are accessible from your profile.
Note: verified vendors can only reply to messages, not initiate them. If you want to contact a vendor directly, start the conversation from their vendor page.
BOOKMARKS & SUBSCRIPTIONS
Bookmark any thread to save it for later (accessible from your profile). Subscribe to threads to get notified when new replies are posted — useful for threads you're actively following.
WEEKLY DIGEST EMAIL
Opt in from your profile settings to receive a weekly summary of the most active threads, highest-rated content, and important announcements. It's the easiest way to stay current without checking the forum every day.
PROFILE CUSTOMIZATION
Your profile is your identity on VialTalk. Set a display name, upload a profile photo, write a bio, and see your full posting history, badges, and reputation. Other members can view your profile to understand your expertise and contribution history.
SEARCH
The search bar in the header searches across threads, posts, and categories. Use it before starting a new thread to see if your question has already been answered.
FOR VENDORS
Vendors can claim a directory listing, manage their business profile, respond to reviews, post in the vendor-only categories, share deals, and access the advertising system. Vendor subscriptions are monthly — full details are on the Vendor Pricing page. Advertising is optional and separate.
REPORTING & MODERATION
Every post has a report button. If you see something that breaks community rules, report it. Moderators review every report. You can report spam, misinformation, rule violations, fake reviews, or anything else that harms the community.
