Vendor Showcase — How It Works for Vendors

Let me ask you something honest.

How many times have you gone down a rabbit hole at 11pm — tabs open, forums bookmarked, articles half-read — and still felt like you were piecing together a puzzle with half the pieces missing?

How many times have you asked a question somewhere and gotten either a sales pitch back, or silence?

That’s not a knowledge problem. That’s a community problem.

We built TriVial BioWorks because we got tired of the same thing you’re tired of. An industry that whispers. Companies that hide behind vague language because transparency cuts into margins. A space full of people who know things but treat that knowledge like currency instead of just… sharing it.

That’s not who we are.

We’re not here to sell you on anything right now. We’re here because this stuff genuinely fascinates us — the science, the research, the questions that don’t have clean answers yet. We’re here because some of the best conversations we’ve ever had started with someone saying “I don’t know, but here’s what I’ve been reading.”

If you’re new to this world — welcome. You’re going to hear a lot of noise. You’re going to run into people who act like gatekeepers and companies that act like they’re doing you a favor by taking your money.

We want to be neither of those things.

What we want to be is a source you can trust. A place where the question is always more respected than the confident answer. Where we point you toward the research, walk through the mechanism with you, and let you think for yourself — because that’s what you deserve.

So tell us what brought you here? What are you curious about? What’s the question you’ve been afraid to ask because you didn’t know if you’d get a straight answer?

Ask it here. We’re listening.

And we’re genuinely glad you found us.

Hi everyone! I'm Nancy Plums, founder of Plum Labs Research.

First, I'd like to thank the VialTalk team for creating a space where vendors can introduce themselves and engage directly with the community. I'm grateful to be here.

I started Plum Labs Research it because I believed researchers deserved a company that approached every detail with intention.

To me, every product represents someone's research project, their time, and the trust they've placed in us. That responsibility is something I never take lightly.

At Plum Labs Research, we believe every detail matters. From thoughtful sourcing and careful handling to the way information is presented throughout our website, every part of the experience is designed with intention. Our goal is to make finding what you need feel effortless, with clear, organized information that allows researchers to focus on what truly matters.

We also believe quality is demonstrated through consistency. That's why we prioritize independent third-party testing, maintain detailed batch documentation, and continuously look for ways to improve both our products and the overall experience we provide. We're always listening, always learning, and always asking how we can do better.

One phrase has become the philosophy behind everything we do:

Never stop asking questions.

Curiosity drives discovery. Questions lead to better research, higher standards, and meaningful progress. We don't claim to have all the answers, but we are committed to learning, improving, and earning trust through our actions every single day.

One thing you'll quickly notice about me is that I genuinely enjoy connecting with the research community. Whether it's answering questions, sharing updates, or listening to feedback, I believe the best companies are built through open conversations and a willingness to keep improving.

At the end of the day, my goal isn't simply to build another company. My goal is to build a brand that researchers feel confident returning to because they know they'll receive consistency, care, and an experience that reflects the same attention to detail we expect from ourselves.

Whether you've been with us from the beginning or you're just discovering Plum Labs Research, thank you for taking the time to get to know us. I look forward to being part of this community and continuing to earn your trust.

Thank you for having me.

Hey everyone! I’m Ashley, the Operations Manager behind the scenes at LabSourced. I’m not the owner, but I’m involved in a little bit of everything—from customer service and affiliates to product updates, testing, COAs, and all the daily details that keep things moving.

Several of you are already friends with me on social media, but I wanted to officially introduce myself here and let you know there’s a real person behind the emails and messages. - Ashley

Hey VialTalk — Ben here from NorthStar Compounds 👋

Rather than give you the typical company introduction, I thought I’d tell you what NorthStar actually looks like behind the scenes and what we’re trying to build.

We’re a Minnesota-based research company, and NorthStar has grown around a few things that are extremely important to us: quality, transparency, fast service, and being accessible to the people who choose to do business with us.

We’re also not interested in pretending we’re a massive corporation.

There are real people behind NorthStar. We see the orders come in. We pack them. We read the emails and messages. We see the reviews. We hear the criticism. And when someone gives us an idea that could make NorthStar better, there’s a very good chance we’re talking about it.

That hands-on approach is a big part of who we are.

What matters to us?

Testing that customers can actually see.
Independent third-party testing is an important part of our operation, and we maintain a COA library so researchers can easily access documentation associated with our products and batches.

Getting orders out the door.
Nobody enjoys placing an order and wondering when it’s going to move. Fast processing and shipping have been priorities for us from the beginning, and we work hard to get orders on their way as quickly as possible.

Being available.
Customer service shouldn’t feel like sending a message into a black hole. Questions come up. Problems occasionally happen. When they do, we want customers to know there’s an actual person on the other end who is going to respond and help.

Continuing to improve.
This one might be the biggest.

We pay attention to what customers tell us.

We’ve changed products, packaging, our website, testing practices, shipping processes, and plenty of smaller things because someone pointed out a way we could do them better.

We’re still growing, and we don’t have any interest in acting like we’ve already figured everything out.

Our goal is to make NorthStar Compounds a little better every month.

Better selection.
Better documentation.
Better service.
Better overall experience.

And when we miss the mark, we want to hear about that too.

The NorthStar name comes from our Minnesota roots, and that identity means a lot to us. But as the company grows, we want the name to become associated with something else as well:

A company that does what it says it’s going to do.

No elaborate mission statement needed.

Provide quality research products. Be transparent about them. Ship quickly. Take care of customers. Listen. Improve. Repeat.

That’s NorthStar.

If you’ve already ordered from us, thank you for trusting us with your business. We genuinely appreciate every person who has helped us get to where we are.

If you’ve never ordered from us, that’s perfectly fine too. Stick around, ask questions, check out our testing, and get to know us.

We’re happy to be here and looking forward to becoming part of the VialTalk community.
