Day 60

This is the last bit of Reta I have from my very first peptide order. Ordered from an overpriced RUO company with no way to easily verify COAs. I'll give myself some grace because, at the time, I didn't know about COAs and testing and where this stuff came from. By the grace of God, the reta worked as reta should, and I didn't have any negative side effects.

I ordered a half kit of Reta 30mg from a trusted vendor, and I'm glad that I can close the book on this first vendor and their product. I'm glad I learned about COAs and how to verify them. Trust is huge in this space. I'm glad there are companies, many of them associated with VialTalk, that test properly and build trust with their customers without a ridiculous price tag to go with it.

Anyways, this journal entry is supposed to be about RETA. I'm down 58lbs in the past year, and 28lbs since starting Reta on 6/2/26, two full months come this Sunday. My diet has been locked in. I sleep better than I have in a long time. I'm down a full shirt size; all my pants are too big and require a belt. I feel more confident. I'm saving money on groceries and going out to eat. I have way more control when it comes to snacking and eating high-fat, high-calorie foods. I only drink water (and black coffee and energy drinks, but no soda or sugary juices). Through some miracle, I'm getting stronger in the gym.

I guess I'm writing this as a final report on my experience because this July Journal Challenge for VialTalk is coming to an end today, so I wanted to make sure I fully encapsulate my experience here. I will continue to update on these journals because I've come to enjoy writing these updates, and maybe this will help somebody down the road. This is something I love about this community. Everyone in this space is taking their health into their own hands and trying to get better or improve or optimize. Everyone is encouraging and seems to genuinely want to help and keep each other safe. You don't find that everywhere. I'm enjoying this journey, and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow.
